Giacomo Fiara

Giacomo Fiara is the Business Officer Manager at ANcybernetics. He has a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from UNIVPM and is currently completing a master’s degree in management engineering at the same university. During his academic journey, he developed his technical and managerial skills through various extra-curricular activities, including working as a Project Engineer in Loccioni’s “Virtual Class” project in 2018. Since 2020, Giacomo has been working at ANcybernetics, where he is responsible for business management, focusing on various projects in the field of education and marine robotics. His continuous training and participation in startup competitions, as well as his collaboration with incubators and innovation actors at a regional and national level, allow him to build a strategic network of contacts, essential for the company’s success in the technology and entrepreneurship sector.

Daniele Costa

Daniele Costa is Head of R&D and Product Manager at ANcybernetics. He has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and a Master in Mechanical Engineering from UNIVPM. After completing his PhD in Industrial Engineering at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences of UNIVPM, he is now an Assistant Researcher at the same department, focusing on underwater and collaborative robotics. Over the years, together with Prof. Scaradozzi and his team, Daniele has been involved in the mechanical design of biomimetic underwater robots, including the conception of the ANcybernetics products.

Marco Gatti

Marco Gatti is the Chief Financial Officer and UNIVPM’s representative in the ANcybernetics spin-off. He has a PhD in Business Administration and is currently a full professor in the Department of Management at UNIVPM. His research and teaching activities are mainly focused on strategic management and control systems and financial statements. At ANcybernetics, Marco brings to the team his extensive experience in strategic management, optimising marketing strategies and business operations, supporting market expansion and ensuring sound financial management of operations.

David Scaradozzi

David Scaradozzi is the Key Account Manager at ANcybernetics. He is currently a researcher at the Department of Information Engineering at UNIVPM. He has a PhD. in Robotics and Automation from the same department. He manages the Laboratory for Modelling, Analysis and Control of Dynamic Systems (LabMACS) and is UNIVPM’s coordinator in the scientific committee of the Interuniversity Centre of Integrated Systems for the Marine Environment (ISME), which collaborates with the Italian Navy and NATO. David is a member of the Academic Senate of UNIVPM, Coordinator of the UNIVPM Committee for International Relations and Networking, Delegate for Mobility of the Faculty of Engineering at UNIVPM and CRUI Delegate of UNIVPM for International Cooperation in developing countries. He was awarded the Golden Trident by the International Academy of Underwater Sciences and Techniques for his outstanding work in education and underwater robotics.

Benedetta Castagna

Benedetta Castagna is the EU Project Manager for the ANcybernetics team. Benedetta is a civil engineer and architect, currently a research fellow at the Polytechnic University of Marche (UNIVPM) in the Department of Information Engineering, while pursuing a PhD at the University of Kent, Canterbury (UK). Her main skills lie in 3D modelling, focusing on theoretical approaches designed to enhance and support the socio-economic development of cultural heritage. Benedetta’s international background makes her ideally suited to the role of project manager at ANcybernetics, where she can leverage her experience in organising and managing projects and events, thus facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration. Her ability to combine technical and organisational skills in complex projects significantly contributes to the team’s innovation and operational efficiency, adding value to proposed solutions.

Flavia Gioiello

Flavia Gioiello is a PhD student in the National Doctoral Programme “Robotics and Intelligent Machines for Hostile and Unstructured Environments” at the Polytechnic University of Marche, with a research project on “Marine Biomimetic Cyber-Physical Systems for Ocean Documentation”, co-funded by ANcybernetics. As a computer and automation engineer, Flavia is passionate about innovation and marine technologies, contributing to the design of intelligent algorithms for ocean exploration.
